Some six months after Big Maybelle cut her original version, Roy Hall recorded his version of "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On.

Roy claimed that he co-wrote the song with Dave (Curly) Williams.

Recorded in 1955 in Nashville, Tennessee and released on Decca Records.
