1922 Paul Whiteman - Hot Lips (instrumental)
Here's music by Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra, "Hot Lips (He's Got Hot Lips When He Plays Jazz)," featuring the song's co-composer Henry Busse on trumpet.
The song would go to become Henry's longtime theme song after he left Pops to become a successful bandleader in his own right.
Recorded in New York City on June 23, 1922 and released on Victor #18920.
Who says we don't do acoustic pre-electrical recordings on this weblog?
