1937 HITS ARCHIVE: Powerhouse - Raymond Scott Quintette
Here's one of the songs that Raymond Scott made famous (or made Mr. Scott famous), "Powerhouse."
The Raymond Scott Quintette included Raymond himself (the song's composer) on Piano, Dave Harris on Saxophone, Pete Pimiglio on Clarinet, Dave Wade on Trumpet, Louis Shoobe on Bass, and Johnny Williams on Drums.
Recorded in New York City on February 20, 1937 and released on Brunswick #7993.
