Bob Dunn's Vagabonds - Graveyard Blues 1939
Time now, kids, for some bluesy Western swing with Bob Dunn's Vagabonds.
Leo Raley, who played mandolin in Mr. Dunn's band, does this vocal on "Graveyard Blues."
Bob's steel guitar playing was so 1935, even though this recording was made on March 2, 1939 in Houston Texas and released on Decca Records.
Bob, when he was with Milton Brown's Musical Brownies in 1935, was the first artist to make a commercial recording of an electrified string instrument, in this case, his guitar.
